NBC Is Turning Its New "Munsters" Show Into a Halloween Special
NBC has been developing a new "Munsters" show for YEARS now. The latest incarnation was a show called "Mockingbird Lane" starring JERRY O'CONNELL, PORTIA DE ROSSI and EDDIE IZZARD.
For whatever reason, it didn't work out, and the show is currently dead. Supposedly, NBC wasn't happy with the pilot, but since they had $10 MILLION wrapped up in it, they wanted it to see the light of day. So they've decided to air the pilot as a Halloween special on Friday, October 26th.
We suppose there's a chance the show could be revived if the special is a success, but if NBC wasn't even happy with it, it seems unlikely that it'll capture the nation. Especially, since it's airing on the Friday night before Halloween.
