#1.)  "Playing for Keeps"  (PG-13)  Trailer

Gerard Butler is a former soccer player coerced into coaching his son's team so he can reconnect with his kid.  And despite the horny soccer moms throwing themselves at him, he's still in love with his ex-wife, who's about to get remarried.

Jessica Biel is the ex-wife, Catherine Zeta Jones and Uma Thurman play soccer moms, and Dennis Quaid is Uma's jealous husband.  If it matters to you, the movie's directed by the guy who did "The Pursuit of Happyness".

This isn't the first time Gerard's been in a soccer movie.  He was also in the 2005 movie "The Game of Their Lives", about the first time a U.S. soccer team won the World Cup, in 1950.

By the way, did you know you've been saying Gerard Butler's first name WRONG all this time?  Most of us say Gerard with a "rawr" in the middle, but it's actually pronounced closer to Jared.  You can listen to him say it correctly at the :19 mark, here.

At 4:53 in the same video, he also says, "I was amazed how many people play soccer.  I think it's actually the most played sport in America under 11.  But then after that they branch out and go into the very American sports."

#2.)  "Dino Time"  (PG)  Trailer

An animated time travel movie about three kids who get mistaken for baby dinosaurs when they emerge from their egg-shaped time machine.

Melanie Griffith is a mama Tyrannosaurus Rex, Rob Schneider is their new "brother", and Baldwin brothers Stephen and William Baldwin are a pair of evil dinosaurs.  "Glee's" Jane Lynch is also in it as the mom of one of the kids.

"Lay the Favorite" stars Bruce Willis as a sports bookie who realizes the girl he just hired is a gambling prodigy.  She's played by Rebecca Hall.  The cast also has Joshua Jackson as her love interest, Catherine Zeta Jones as Bruce's wife, and Vince Vaughn as a rival bookie.  (Trailer)

"Deadfall" stars Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde as a couple on the run after a heist goes bad during a blizzard.  They split up after he kills a state trooper, and reunite in the home of Sissy Spacek and Kris Kristofferson with the cops closing in.  (Trailer)
