You're Most Likely to Lose Something on Saturday Nights in December

12/7/2012

According to a new survey by the internet back-up company Mozy, you should keep a close eye on your stuff this weekend, or you might LOSE it.  The average person loses $250 worth of stuff a year, and HALF of it is never found.  Not surprisingly, more stuff goes missing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday than the other four days of the week combined.  And we're entering the prime time of year for losing things.

The MOST likely time of the entire year to lose something is 6:00 P.M. on Saturdays in December.  It's because weekends have less predictable schedules in general.  And during the holidays, you're shopping and going to holiday events, which makes it easy to lose track of things.  Your PHONE is the thing you're most likely to lose.  Phones account for 40% of the items lost by men and 33% of the items lost by women.
