Earlier this week, we heard that 73-year-old VALERIE HARPER has inoperable brain cancer, and has as little as a month-and-a-half to live.  Now, she's booked her first TV appearance to talk about it.  (She just made it public on Wednesday, but she was diagnosed back on January 15th.  At that time, her doctors said she had three to six months left.)

Valerie is going to be on Monday's episode of "The Doctors", alongside her husband, and her former "Mary Tyler Moore Show" co-stars CLORIS LEACHMAN and ED ASNER.
