As long as celebrities seem to be unburdening themselves of their deep, dark secrets, ROD STEWART has a confession to make:  He cheated . . . on his DRIVING TEST.  Back in 1967, a roadie named Pete got tired of driving Rod around.  So he decided to do something about it.

Rod says, "Pete set off to the test center, signed in as Mr. Roderick Stewart of Highgate and took my test.  And I passed, I'm pleased to say."

Rod got his U.S. driver's license eight years later.  LEGALLY.  But he says, "To this day I have never taken a driving test in Britain."  (Rod is 68 years old.)
