The House from the Original "Nightmare On Elm Street" is For Sale

2/5/2013

The house from the original 1984 version of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is up for sale for "only" $2.1 million.  The house is in Hollywood's Spaulding Square neighborhood.  Sadly, it's not actually on Elm Street, it's on Genesee Avenue.  But the house number, 1428, is the same as in the movie.

The house was also used in the 1985 sequel, "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2:  Freddy's Revenge", and the 1994 sequel "Wes Craven's New Nightmare".

(On the outside, the house looks pretty similar to how it did back then, but it's a lot more modern on the inside.  Check out some pics here.)
