…when the possible expansion of my hips matters not, because my purchasing and consuming of cookies is for a worthy cause!!!

 I just finished checking the boxes of all the delicious Girl Scout cookies I wish to receive. It was difficult to not just check every box, but to select just a few spectacular flavors to satisfy my sweet tooth and fund girls doing great things.

 And as we all know, it is “more than just exchanging cookies for money.” As the site says…

             “When a Girl Scout sells you cookies, she's building a lifetime of skills and confidence. She learns goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics—aspects essential to leadership, to success, and to life.”

 However, it was not an actual scout that sold the cookies to me. Rather, a sheet was passed unto me to select multiple orders of the most coveted cookies that we can get but once a year! Although I do know there are plenty of hard working girls out there, hitting the pavement to hone their skills and sell those cookies! And should one not make it to your neighborhood, not to worry! They now have official “Girl Scout Cookie Finder” apps for the iPhone and Android!

 And what a “caramel delight” to find that for the first year ever, we can mark our calendars for National Girl Scout Cookie Day this Friday the 8^th! Sounds like it is going to be a day of social networking and show of support :)

 Now to find something from the vending machine to satiate my need for sugar till my boxes arrive…
