Laurie recently celebrated being in Reno for 24 years!  All but 5 and a half of those years have been with Americom Broadcasting.  Her love of music & chatting led her to radio in the fall of 1983 and she’s been at it ever since. 

She’s married to John and has 1 son, Douglas (affectionately known as “Doogie”) who’s 19; she also has a stepson, Sean, who’s 25.  They live in Sparks and when she’s not working, Laurie loves to read, travel, hit the elliptical and catch up on “Days of Our Lives” and Desperate Housewives”.
