KRNO is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to sell radio and internet advertising to local businesses the Reno/Sparks market. Candidates must be performance oriented, intelligent, creative, good communicators and possess strong work ethic. Must have experience in prospecting, cold calling, securing appointments, delivering in-person client presentations and possess a proven track record of securing new business in the online adverting arena. Media advertising sales experience a plus! Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting, pursuing leads and developing new client relationships.
Effectively and aggressively manage all aspects of the sales cycle
Establish a pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast
Develop and present customized proposals
Negotiate contracts and closing opportunities
Achieve revenue goals set by Sales Manager
Submit weekly/monthly sales forecasts
Must be Microsoft Office proficient, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and possess a valid driver’s license.
