A Man Donated His Kidney to a Complete Stranger, That His Wife Met on the Facebook Game FarmTown

11/12/2012

The next time you ignore a request from a friend to play one of those annoying Facebook games, it could COST someone their LIFE.  41-year-old Chris Miller (seen here with his wife) of Gainesville, Georgia is having surgery on January 8th to donate a kidney to a college student in Idaho named Tiffany Coatney.  (Gainesville is 50 miles northeast of Atlanta.  Tiffany's age wasn't given.)     And he's never even met her.

But his WIFE Lisa met Tiffany's MOTHER online four years ago, when the two were playing the Facebook game FarmTown.  (The mom's name wasn't released.)  Tiffany suffers from spina bifida, and she's in renal failure.  Her mom explained all that, and Lisa decided to find the girl a donor.    After searching for a donor for three years, she finally asked her HUSBAND to be tested, and Chris turned out to be a match.
