Well THIS is definitely a new tactic to try to get people to shop in stores instead of online.  The CEO of Toys "R" Us says if you shop online, it means you HATE THE ENVIRONMENT.  He phrased it a little more gently, but that was the message. 

In a new interview, Jerry Storch, the CEO of Toys "R" Us, let everyone know why they should shop in person this holiday season. "[People are] just so enraptured with how cool it is that they can order anything and get it brought to their home that they aren't thinking of the carbon footprint.  Driving a truck down a country lane in rural Connecticut to deliver a package is hardly the greenest way of product delivery.  People are going to start realizing, 'Wait, I'm already taking my children to school.  The store is right there.'"
