Forget about what you THINK you're attracted to in a woman.  It turns out the number one quality that REALLY turns you on is, how much a woman LOOKS LIKE YOU.  A study out of France took men's photos and digitally altered them to look like women's faces.  Then they showed the men photos of women, and secretly included the altered photo.  And the men were MUCH more likely to rate the women who looked like THEM as the most attractive. 

The researchers also analyzed photos of couples and found that they share more facial traits than two random people would.  Their idea for why it happens is called homogamy.  Most animal species prefer partners who are close to them genetically, and humans aren't immune to it either.
