It takes a woman SIX DECADES to realize that being on the CUTTING EDGE of fashion trends is a waste of time and money. According to a new survey, the age when the average woman finally stops trying to be trendy is 59.
There's more. The survey found that the average woman stops wearing baseball caps at age 40, miniskirts and leather pants at age 41, and knee-high boots and tight shirts at age 45.
Even though they're ditching "younger" clothing, the majority of women of ALL ages think they look younger than they actually are. The average woman says she just hopes people think she's five years younger than she really is.
As for tricks to looking younger, 26% would consider Botox or other cosmetic surgery, 5% try to look younger with makeup, and 10% of women have tried looking younger by dating a younger man.
