Most men CLAIM they wash their hands every time they use the bathroom.  But if you've ever been creepy enough to pay attention in a public bathroom, you know hand washing is not even CLOSE to a guarantee. 

A new study out of Michigan State University has found what just might be THE best way to get men to wash their hands, SHAMING THEM.  The researchers found that 75% of men claim they wash their hands every time they use the bathroom.  So the number is probably a bit lower than that.

BUT, if the researchers hung a sign in the bathroom that read "Four Out of Five Men Wash Their Hands," the number of men who washed their hands jumped up to 86%.  In other words, if you SHAME people into thinking they're part of some small, filthy, unlovable percentage of people who don't wash their hands, they're MUCH more likely to want to join the hand-washing masses.
