What's New?

Mobile Internet Devices Will Outnumber People Before the End of the Year

2/15/2013

If you weren't worried about the rise of the machines already, then here's some news you need to hear:   According to a forecast by experts at Cisco, there will be more than seven BILLION internet-connected mobile devices before the end of the year. That means things like smart phones and tablets.

And there are between six and seven billion people on earth, so that means that before 2013 ends, there will be more mobile devices than HUMAN BEINGS.

People watching video on their phones and tablets make up about HALF of all data that's transmitted worldwide. And it'll be two thirds of all the data by 2017.

The average person uses 342 megabytes a month on their phone, which is an 81% increase over last year. And we're expected to use NINE TIMES more than that by 2017.
