44% of Us Have Hidden an Online Purchase from Someone

Have you ever bought something and tried to HIDE it from someone in your home?  We’re not talking about Christmas gifts here . . .

A new poll found nearly half of Americans, 44%, have hidden an online purchase from someone.  The most common person we hide stuff from is our significant other.

21% have hidden a purchase from their partner or spouse.  Our kids are next at 14%, and then a tie between parents and friends at 12%.

The top three reasons we hide purchases are:  The thing we bought was expensive, it was impulsive or unnecessary, and it was personal or embarrassing.
