You’ve heard the phrase, “There’s no such thing as a dumb question”, Well, that’s wrong. And to prove it, BuzzFeed rounded up dozens of stories from Reddit where people were asked questions so dumb it made them lose faith in humanity.
Here are 10 of the funniest and dumbest examples:
1. Someone asked a below-knee amputee: “How long until your leg grows back?”
2. A fishing captain on a boat in the ocean was asked, “What elevation are we at?”
3. “How do you think they get the mashed potato inside the French fry?”
4. A girl learning to drive asked her instructor if you really have to check your blind spot “every time” you change lanes.
5. An American was visiting Alaska, and she went around looking to exchange U.S. dollars for “Alaskan dollars.”
6. “So, for the Louisiana Purchase, how’d they get the land all the way over here from France?”
7. “Is it possible to fax cash to another person?”
8. Somebody on a cruise boat, “What time does the midnight buffet start?”
9. A person used voice commands to set the temperature in their car. A friend nearby was amazed and asked, “Was that for indoors or outdoors?”
10. An agent over the phone asked a client to input a numerical code, and they asked, “Do I need to type that in uppercase or lowercase?”
