There’s a New Shirt That You Can Wear for a Month Without Washing

If you’re going on a two-week vacation, how many shirts would you bring?  What if you had access to a washer and dryer?  Would it be more or less than 15?

What if you could get away with just the shirt on your back?

A clothing company called HercLeon recently announced a shirt that can SUPPOSEDLY remain odor-free for more than a month, while wearing it, every day.  And they say that’s true, even in the hot summer months.

How?  To keep it odorless, they use seven special ingredients:  Copper, silver, zinc, gold, volcanic ash, and two “secret ingredients” they didn’t reveal.  And all of them are woven into the fabric, rather than simply applied on the surface.

They say the shirts also last longer, because they’re not being washed and dried over and over again.

Naturally, they aren’t cheap.  The latest HercShirt V5.0 starts at $79, although that’s an early promotional price.  The list price is $149.

There’s another, cheaper version for $39 that stays fresh across three days of heavy use.  And one for $69 that stays fresh for 14 days.

The shirts will be available in early November, in three colors:  Navy blue, burgundy, and dark green.

If you want to try it out, you can preorder one on Kickstarter.  (As of this morning, more than 1,760 people had backed this, pledging over $275,000.)

(Here’s an ad for them.)
