Here are some random facts for you.

 

1.  Every passport in the world has a cover that’s either red, green, blue, or black.

 

2.  There’s never been a time in U.S. history where there were more than six living presidents, including past presidents and the current one.  Right now there are five:  Carter, Bush, Clinton, the George W. Bush, and Obama.

 

3.  Ketchup gets its name from a Chinese sauce from the 1600s called koe-chiap.  It was made of pickled fish brine and spices.

 

4.  The woman who invented the sports bra made her first prototype out of two jockstraps.  Her name is Hinda Miller and she helped invent it in the 1970s.  She eventually went on to be a state senator in Vermont.

 

5.  Disney used “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” instead of “Dwarves”, because “dwarves” didn’t become the more popular spelling until J.R.R. Tolkien used it in “The Hobbit” a few years later.
