Does Making Friends at Work Boost Productivity? Two-Thirds of Us Say Yes

Does becoming good friends with people at work make you more productive?  Or do you just end up goofing off all day?  In a new survey, almost two-thirds of employees said it DOES make them more productive.

62% said it boosts productivity . . . 25% said it has no effect . . . 10% said it makes them less productive . . . and 3% weren’t sure.

The good news is most bosses don’t have a problem with it.  39% said it makes people more productive . . . 44% said it has no effect . . . and only 16% think people slack off if they get too friendly at work.
