Five Random Facts For Monday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  The world record for the most people on a commercial flight is 1,088.  That number also includes two BABIES that were born on the flight.  El Al Airlines helped evacuate Ethiopian Jews in 1991 and flew them to Israel, and they fit that many people by removing all of the seats.

2.  Lewis Carroll never uses the name “Mad Hatter” in “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”.  The character is just called The Hatter, and he has a “mad tea party,” so people started to blend the two.

3.  You could last about 15 seconds in space without a space suit and helmet before you’d go unconscious, but you could stay alive for up to three minutes.

4.  The only U.S. state that produces coffee is Hawaii.

5.  Eight out of 10 Americans ban smoking in their homes, that’s almost double from 20 years ago.
