Five Random Facts for Monday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  In NBA playoff action, there’s never been a successful comeback from a 3-0 series deficit.  Of the 159 NBA teams that have been down three games to none, only four of them forced a Game 7, which they ultimately lost.

2.  Some species of male spiders “tie up” female spiders before mating, so the females don’t EAT them afterwards.

3.  The “Mission: Impossible” TV series from the 1960s invented the term “self-destruct” with their famous mission instructions that would, “self-destruct in five seconds.”

4.  There’s a tiny epoxy shield inside of an aluminum soda can.  Otherwise, the soda would make the can corrode in three days.

5.  The longest winning streak in any professional sport in history is held by a squash player from Pakistan named Jahangir Khan.  He won 555 consecutive matches from 1981 to 1986.
