A Hospital Booted a Death-Themed Coffee Truck from Its Parking Lot

If you’re visiting a dying grandparent in the hospital, would you ever grab a coffee called “The Formaldehyde” on the way in?

The Mayo Clinic hospital in Phoenix has booted a death-themed coffee truck called “Graveyard Shift Coffee” from its parking lot.

The truck had been a regular fixture between 9:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. . . . specifically catering to hospital night shift workers.  In fact, the logo was a smiling skeleton wearing green hospital scrubs, and holding a cup of coffee.

On social media, Graveyard Shift Coffee said, “[Due] to our logo and name, we are no longer allowed to serve coffee [there], effective immediately.”  They hit up other hospitals too, including a children’s hospital.  It’s unclear if they are still welcome at those places.

And maybe it was a LITTLE over the top.  The menu includes drinks like “The Bloody Eye,” with chocolate and strawberry, “the Formaldehyde,” with lavender and honey, and “Murder Spice,” with honey and cinnamon.
