People of all ages were asked this question, so there’s some guesswork here. But what do you say?
Someone polled over 1,000 adults across the U.S. and asked which age range they think they’ll look back on as the BEST years of their life. They broke it down by decade: Zero to nine, 10 to 19, then your 20s, 30s, 40s, and so on.
It was close, but the decade people think will be the best years of their life are their 20s. (So, your drunkest decade when you had no money, but also no obligations. So, good times?)
1. Your 20s . . . 22% of the vote.
2. Your 30s . . . 20%
3. Your 40s . . . 12%
4. Your 50s . . . 9%
5. Your tweens and teens . . . 8% of the vote
12% said their 60s, 70s, or 80s. And 5% said their first decade on Earth was the best. (The remaining 11% said “not sure.”)
They also asked the same question, but about the WORST years of your life, and our 20s almost topped that list too. But not quite.
There WASN’T a clear winner this time: 12% said their teens and tweens were the worst years of their life (correct),10% said their 20s, then 30s and 40s tied with 9% each.
