It’s always the Tuesday before Valentine’s Day. It’s basically when people realize they haven’t made plans, and don’t want to waste the money.
The site Illicit Encounters got the term trending in 2015. A survey found around one in four people have broken up with someone the week before Valentine’s Day.
“Star” magazine talked to a matchmaker who says it’s even more pronounced with NEW relationships.
She says it’s most common with couples who are three to six months in. Or people who, “don’t want to buy the gift or fake the romance.”
