Did you fall for any April Fools’ Day pranks yesterday? As always, a bunch of brands got in on it this year . . .
1. Chicken sauce-flavored cola. Raising Cane’s had Mckenna Grace help them unveil Cane’s Sauce Coke, a fake variety of Coca-Cola inspired by their signature sauce. (They posted the “ad” on social media.)
2. A skincare mask, for your backside. Dude Wipes unveiled a new skincare product called the “BUTT MASSK“, the “first targeted hydrogel patch designed specifically for your third eye.” You “just pop this soothing gel disc directly onto the target zone for 15 minutes while you doom-scroll on the throne.”
3. A skincare face mask, made of puff pastry. The pastry company Jus-Rol introduced the “dePUFF“, a sheet mask made from puff pastry dough. “Promising 300% increase in buttery smooth skin, with 9 out of 10 experiencing the sudden urge to host brunch.”
4. An umbrella for your Uggs. Ugg hyped a new accessory: A clip-on “Uggbrella” to protect your sheepskin boots from rain.
5. Emergency chocolate on a phone case. Maybe this SHOULD exist. Terry’s Chocolate shared a photo of a phone case designed to carry some “heat-controlled” chocolate “for any emergency.”
6. Non-alcoholic beer cooler. The non-alcoholic beer brand Mash Gang revealed a keg, specially designed to replace your office water cooler.
7. Chocolate-wrapped cheese. The chocolate company “Monty Bojangles” teamed with cheese brand Babybel to create the “Choccybel,” a cheese snack where Babybel’s wax shell is replaced with chocolate.

9. Keebler Hollow Tree Toothpaste. The “Cookiepaste” flavors include E.L. Fudge, Soft Baked Chips Deluxe Brownie, Fudge Stripes, Sandies Shortbread, and Vienna Fingers.
10. Heinz Matcha Mayo. It’s described as “a bold new take on your favorite sauce, inspired by the flavor everyone’s obsessed with right now.”

12. Ice cream soup, from Baskin-Robbins.
13. Red Lobster, Cheddar Bay Biscuit-flavored Pop-Tarts. Dunkin’ commented on the post, saying “This is so coastal New England core.”

15. “Grandma’s Purse”-flavored Halls cough drops. They say it’s a nostalgic, “lavender and lint-inspired flavor.”
There’s also a Yahoo “scroll-stopper” device that you can put on your thumb.
And: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced a Boston to Cape Cod Connector: A 45-MILE bridge from Charlestown to Provincetown.
