Five Random Facts for Thursday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  Pikachu from “Pokémon” almost had massive boobs.  This is based on old interviews with the “Pokémon” people when they were bringing Pikachu to America.  There are some translation ambiguities, so it’s unclear whether they would’ve been feminine breasts or pronounced pecs.

2.  Miller Lite was originally called Gablinger’s Diet Beer when it was developed in 1967.

3.  The estimated value of the 843 acres of land in New York’s Central Park was estimated to be about $529 billion in 2005.  More recent estimates have it around $40 TRILLION.

4.  The very last line of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”, which you can barely hear as the song fades out, is “Please don’t procrastinate, it’s not good to masturbate.”

5.  There’s a pro wrestling move called the chokeslam where the wrestler lifts his opponent up by his throat and slams him to the ground.  It was invented during an amateur wrestling match, by Abraham Lincoln.
