A Survey Revealed the Best Choice When Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors

This is good info to have the next time you can’t decide who’s making dinner, or gets to ride shotgun.

Someone polled thousands of people and asked what they’re most likely to choose when playing Rock, Paper Scissors.  And the most common answer by far was ROCK.

34% usually go with rock, 23% said scissors, and 20% said paper.  So CHOOSING paper on your first throw gives you the best odds of winning.  The other 23% said they don’t know what they usually go for, or they mix it up.

The same poll asked about two other games of chance, and the stats on those are interesting too.

Flipping a coin:  Are you more likely to call heads or tails?  59% said heads, and just 21% said tails.  19% don’t have a preference.

Choosing a number between 1 and 10:  There’s a clear winner.  A whopping 36% said “7” is their go-to number.

So if you’re the one asking, DON’T choose “7” unless you want them to guess it.  The number “5” is a distant second with 12% of the vote.

If you want them to guess wrong, the best number to pick is “1.”  Only 1% of people said it’s their go-to number.  “10” is next at 2%.
