A family in Plattsburgh, New York is dealing with a RACCOON porch pirate, who stole a large package from their front stoop.
The box was a return, which was going to be picked up by FedEx. (Plattsburgh is in the northeast corner, near the Vermont border.)
It wasn’t an easy theft either. The box was left INSIDE a bin, that had a sign alerting FedEx to the “hiding place.”
The raccoon hit the jackpot, (probably thanks to its nose), the box was being sent back to Chewy.com, and contained $93 worth of pet food.
The theft was caught on a doorbell security camera. And the camera showed the racoon coming back over and over again, looking in the bin to see if there were any more “packages.”
Chewy was cool about it, and still issued a full refund.
