Some people look forward to November for Thanksgiving. Others look forward to it as an excuse to grow a moustache for No Shave November. And, believe it or not, some people still flip-out over Starbucks’ annual holiday cups.
Starbucks’ new holiday cups will be out TODAY, when they launch their holiday menu. This year, there are four hot drink cups and two cold cups. They’re all red and green, and have plaid or ribbon decorations. Cool.
But these cups have been COMPLETELY OVERSHADOWED by the new, viral, glass “bear-ista” cold cups, which are bear-shaped, clear, and have a hat as a lid. They kinda look like those bear-shaped honey containers.
They will also be available starting today for a limited time, but they’re NOT complimentary. A 20-ounce bear-ista cup costs $29.95, which is a lot, but it, “promises to bring instant joy to every sip.” So there’s that.
By the way, Starbucks will hold its annual Red Cup Day NEXT Thursday, the 13th. That’s when they’ll offer a free reusable holiday cup with the purchase of any holiday drink.
