A poll asked people to rank their current interest in going to various “casual dining” establishments.
It’s how much they LIKE the restaurant’s menu items, while also considering prices, value, and overall experience.
Here’s the Top 10 for “casual dining”:
1. Olive Garden
2. Texas Roadhouse
3. Applebee’s
4. Chili’s
5. IHOP
6. The Cheesecake Factory
7. Outback Steakhouse
8. Cracker Barrel
9. Buffalo Wild Wings
10. Red Lobster.
Both men and women have the same Top 3: Olive Garden at #1, Texas Roadhouse, and then Applebee’s.
As for the differences: Men have Chili’s ranked higher, and Buffalo Wild Wings is their 8th favorite.
Women don’t have BW3s in their Top 10, but unlike men, they do have Red Robin in there, and they’re higher on The Cheesecake Factory.
When broken down by AGE: Everyone has Olive Garden in the top spot, except Gen Z’ers, who have Chili’s #1. Gen Z’ers and Millennials also go for Wingstop more than the older generations.
Boomers and Gen X’ers prefer: Cracker Barrel, Outback Steakhouse, and Longhorn.
