“Game Of Thrones” Season 8 Teaser Confirms It’s Final Season Will Premiere April 2019

On Twitter, HBO released a teaser for the final season of Game of Thrones, formally announcing that it will premiere in April 2019. The teaser was released with the text “Every battle. Every betrayal. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death. All #ForTheThrone.” The trailer ends with the reveal that April of 2019 will be the debut of the eight — and final — season of the show, which first premiered in 2011.

Sandra Bullock Donates $100,000 To Help Save Animals From California Fires

Actress Sandra Bullock has made a $100,000 donation to The Humane Society of Ventura County, which is helping the animals affected by the wildfires in Southern California. The organization wrote on Facebook: “Our efforts for rescuing and caring for evacuated animals from the Hill and Woolsey fires had caught her attention and her team reached out to the shelter to show their supporT. Sandra Bullock and her family have reached out to other nonprofit organizations both during this incident and in the past. However, this time she wanted to contribute to those on the frontline rescuing animals in peril and hope others will choose to do the same.” The group said the donation will help provide care for animals such as horses, bulls and donkeys, amongst others, to be safely evacuated from the fires.

‘Toy Story 4’ Trailer Released, Introducing New Character

Pixar released the trailer for “Toy Story 4” on Monday, and the whole gang — Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Slinky Dog, Hamm the Piggy Bank and Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head — are back, along with a new character; a spork named Forky (voiced by Tony Hale.) While further details about the latest installment of the legendary Toy Story franchise are still scarce, the official synopsis states, “A road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

Stan Lee, Legendary Co-Creator Of Marvel Comics, Dies At Age 95

Stan Lee, a legend who created many of the popular Marvel characters, has died at age 95. Lee died early Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was born Stanley Martin Lieber on Dec. 28, 1922, in New York City. Lee got a job at Timely Comics as an assistant at age 17, and was with the company for near six decades before Timely Comics became Atlas Comics and then Marvel Comics. Lee created or co-created Black Panther, Spider-Man, X-Men, The Mighty Thor, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Ant-Man and other characters. Lee is survived by his daughter, J.C. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017.

The 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards: Full List Of Winners

The 44th Annual People’s Choice Awards — now called the E! People’s Choice Awards– made it’s debut on the E! channel on Sunday night, taking place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The evening’s big winner was the Marvel Cinematic Universe as “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War” earned a total of five awards, including the year’s biggest movie (“Avengers”) as well as top action stars (Chadwick Boseman and Danai Gurira, respectively, for “Black Panther”). In addition, Melissa McCarthy was awarded the “People’s Icon of 2018” and Victoria Beckham won “Fashion Icon” award, ahead of the show.
