Jeffrey Tambor Leaves “Transparent” Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

Jeffrey Tambor, who played trans woman Maura Pfefferman on Amazon’s celebrated Jill Soloway show Transparent, announced Sunday that he would not be returning for the next season. Tambor has been accused of sexual harassment by his former assistant Van Barnes and actress and series regular Trace Lysette; both are transgender women. The actor has denied the allegations, but the show’s writers were reportedly already trying to find a way to write his character out of the show.

‘Justice League’ Disappoints In US With $96 Million Opening

Warner Bros. and DC’s “Justice League” opened this past weekend with a $96 million opening in the U.S., coming in well under expectations.  The big budget superhero flick had been pegged for a $110 million launch in North American theaters. If studio estimates hold, it will also have the unfortunate distinction of being the lowest-opening film in the DC Extended Universe.

Elizabeth Hurley Makes Statement As 25 More Women Speak Out Against ‘Royals’ Showrunner Mark Schwahn

Elizabeth Hurley shared an open letter on Twitter in response to her The Royals costar Alexandra Parks’ statement about show runner Mark Schwahn’s alleged “reprehensible behavior” on the set of their E! series on Thursday, November 16.  In part, Hurley stated “I have loved working alongside Alexandra and Mark for four years while shooting The Royals, and had absolutely no idea that she was feeling frightened and sexually intimidated by Mark during this time.”  25 members of the cast and crew of The Royals accused Schwahn of “repeated unwanted sexual harassment” in a statement published by Variety on Thursday.

Sylvester Stallone Denies Claim That He Sexually Assaulted Minor Back In 1986

Sylvester Stallone has vehemently denied allegations that he forced a teenage girl to have sex with him and his bodyguard at a ritzy Las Vegas hotel more than three decades ago. An unidentified 16-year-old girl filed a report with the Las Vegas Police Department on July 29, 1986, alleging that Stallone and his bodyguard, Michael de Luca, “intimidated” her into having sex with them at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.  A spokeswoman for Stallone, 71, claims the allegations are “ridiculous” and “categorically false.”
