Will Smith And DJ Jazzy Jeff To Throw A Star-Studded Virtual Block Party

Bel Air’s favorite hip-hop duo — Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff — will host the “Break The Monotony Block Party” on Instagram Live this Saturday, May 9th, featuring star-studded appearances by their DJ friends. Guests include DJ Clark Kent, D-Nice, Just Blaze, and Neil Armstrong, with each guest checking in from their own handle, with some of the sets running concurrently, festival style. In a press release, Jeff said of the block party, “It’s humbling to see how The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and our music has transcended time and continued to shape pop culture. Between this new collection and the block party, I hope we can come together during these trying times, celebrate culture, put smiles on people’s faces and raise money for an important cause.”

Tom Cruise Working With NASA To Film Aboard The International Space Station

NASA has confirmed that Tom Cruise is partnering with them to shoot a movie aboard the National Space Station, the first narrative feature to be shot in space. “NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station,” NASA administrator Jim Bridentsine tweeted on Tuesday. “We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality.”

Nicolas Cage To Play Joe Exotic In New Television Miniseries

Nicolas Cage has been cast as Joe Exotic in a new television miniseries based on the life of the infamous big cat owner. Exotic rose to infamy following Netflix’s hugely successful documentary Tiger King, which documented his life and various other zoo-owners, which exposed animal abuse and true crime. Exotic is now serving a 22-year-long prison sentences after being found guilty 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire.
